Find the stage, then apply the fix

Sometimes the fix is patience
Part of the time no setting will help, because the onion is genuinely down. When that happens, a clock tweak or a new circuit changes nothing. Check the status board before you assume the worst, and give it minutes rather than seconds.
What you should not do is answer a dead link with a strange one. Frustration is exactly how a clone earns your click. A page that shows up the moment the real door is slow, waving a fresh working mirror, is the trap itself. Wait for the real address to return and verify it, rather than trading a slow safe door for a fast fake one.
